In tow cutter blade reels, fibers containing delusterants, pigments or other additives can quickly dull stainless steel blades. And worn cutter blades can fuse fibers and cause double cuts, ultimately leading to off-quality product.

To protect your output, we’ve engineered a line of high-quality stainless steel tow cutter blades that are thinly coated with our LSR-1 titanium carbide coating. We apply the coating with our exclusive chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process to create extremely hard, dense coatings that are metallurgically bonded to the blade’s substrate.

Our LSR-1-coated tow cutter blades do more than provide a clean cut. They last four to 10 times longer than uncoated blades, increasing your productivity and the quality of your product. Plus, they’re available for most reel-type cutters, including Lummus, Neumag, Fleissner and Hercules machines.
