November 01, 2018
DANBURY, Conn., November 1, 2018 – PG Technologies, LLC, a Praxair Surface Technologies and GE Aviation joint venture, will soon exceed initial workforce projections in Ellisville, Mississippi – the recently relocated headquarters of PG Technologies.
PG Technologies Ellisville started production on October 1, 2017, with 60 employees. One year later, they are a strong team of 165, expected to reach 245 by the end of 2018.
“The aviation industry continues to grow, thus increasing our customers’ demands,” said Managing Director, PGT Derek Hileman. “Finding and hiring talented individuals will be critical to our success in meeting those demands.”
“The entire region is elated that PGT chose to bring these employment opportunities and new technology into an area that prides itself on being a major manufacturing hub in Mississippi,” said Ross Tucker, President of the Economic Development Authority of Jones County. “Their entire process will change the lives of many employees and also introduce them to a career in the aviation industry that can stand the test of time.”
PG Technologies specializes in high-technology coatings that enable aerospace components to withstand higher temperatures and stresses in jet engines.
