Print Quality

Clean rolls, quality prints

Throughout the printing process, the cells of your print rolls can become clogged with dirt, dried ink or other contaminants. And the buildup can cause major production problems by limiting the roll’s ability to carry the right amount of ink.

The key to maximizing your print quality is properly cleaning your print rolls. You can prevent buildup before it starts by immediately cleaning any ink and coating residue after each press run. For everyday operations you can use a stainless steel brush and water or alcohol-based solvent to clean your rolls. But for denser deposits, various deep-cleaning methods are available, including chemical wash, media blast and ultrasonic cleaning. Download the brochure to learn more about these deep-cleaning systems.
