In the plastics industry, slitter blades continuously trim, shape and cut films to desired sizes. Some films, like LLDPE, can dull sharp edges very quickly, requiring frequent changeouts that are not only expensive but also potentially hazardous to your employees.

To help you get you more out of your blades, we’ve manufactured a line of LSR-1 slitter blades. Each blade is coated with tungsten carbide to create an extremely hard, wear-resistant surface. Our LSR-1 blades deliver up to 30 times the product life over a four-year period compared to conventional steel blades.
