All Praxair Surface Technologies facilities around the world create and execute a waste reduction program each year to continue our efforts to reuse and recycle rather than send materials to the landfill. Some of our coating plants turn their waste disposal costs around so that they actually end up with a net positive financial impact from conscientious disposal of what was once merely trash headed to the landfill.

A zero accident and zero injury rate is Praxair Surface Technologies’ safety goal, and about 80 percent of our sites achieve this goal in any given quarter. We continue to work on improving our safety performance through our Operational Discipline program, which emphasizes rigorous, constant compliance with safe work procedures.
