Ball Valves

Ball Valves

Critical components that seal and deliver

As process streams continue to increase in pressure and temperature, metal-seated ball valves are becoming the standard in oil and gas applications. And while ball valves have proven superior in performance, we want to help you get more out of them.

Our thermal spray coatings are designed to extend service life and improve performance of metal-seated ball valves. Our high-velocity oxy fuel (HVOF)-applied coatings are hard and wear-resistant to impede erosive and abrasive wear and corrosive attack, and deliver a tight seal every time to help you achieve zero leakage. Some of our coatings even reduce the coefficient of friction, further improving valve operation.

During application, the temperature of the ball and seat remain below 300°F / 149°C to prevent distortion and eliminate the need for post-coating heat treatment. And when it’s time to replace the ball valve, our coatings can be easily stripped through non-mechanical means and reapplied for less than the cost of a new part.

Increase productivity, decrease downtime and reduce maintenance costs when you coat your metal-seated ball valves with our specially developed wear-resistant coatings.
